GOG.com Adds Hitman and Deus Ex to Their Ever-Growing Library

Chances are everyone have heard about the Hitman and Deus Ex franchises, considering the level of popularity both have garnered over the years. If you haven’t, here’s a short description of the main character in the first games:

Agent 47 is a hitman. He’s a contract killer. The guy who gets the dirty job done, and he has a barcode on the back of his head. Every mission is special, each hit unique. There is always more than one way to take out your target(s), which increases the replay value quite a bit, because after a mission you’re likely gonna be wondering “what could I have done different?” That’s where Hitman really shines. It’s not an open-world game, but you definitely have freedom of choice in how to deal with each situation.

J.C. Denton is the opposite: He prefers not killing anyone, which means he relies heavily on stealth/technology to get his job done. Thankfully, augmentations are a-plenty since the missions you’re sent on during your time working for The United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition aren’t exactly walks in the park. The world is full of chaos, conspiracy and mystery – your job is to unravel it all.

It’s hard to say more about either game without spoiling them, so instead I’ll wrap it up here.

[Announcement, Hitman: Codename 47 ($5.99), Deus Ex™ GOTY edition ($9.99)]
